A Heritage of Christian Leadership...

While all Christians are called to be salt and light to our lost and dying culture, Jesus has also charged us to make disciples. Often the apostle Paul likens the Christian walk to the training of an athlete or a soldier.

It is WCA's role to assist you, the parents, in providing the best possible academic training for your children, while grounding them in Biblical truth, and developing Christian character and leadership.

The Fertile Soil...
In order to release and nourish the plant locked inside each seed, a proper balance of nutrients, moisture, weeding and occasional pruning is required. In the same way, Westlake Christian Academy seeks to provide the optimal environment for students to grow, develop and reach all the potential that God has gifted within them.

In order to release and nourish the plant locked inside each seed, a proper balance of nutrients, moisture, weeding and occasional pruning is required. In the same way, Westlake Christian Academy seeks to provide the optimal environment for students to grow, develop and reach all the potential that God has gifted within them.

While we are proud of what the Lord has enabled us to accomplish so far in our academic program, we recognize that excellence is never something achieved, but continually pursued. Therefore we will always be challenging ourselves to operate on the cutting edge of education while maintaining our fundamental values, standards and commitment to reveal God's truth in every discipline.

Planting seeds that will make a difference.

The foremost goal of WCA is to become the first choice of parents and students seeking a Christ- centered elementary and secondary education where the truth of the Bible is integrated into every aspect of school life. We aim to teach students to think, speak, write, and act in a Christian manner in preparation for life's challenges and to model Christ in their school, church, workplace, and community.

We focus on:

  • Expanding each student's Biblical world view.
  • Building Christian character.
  • Instilling a commitment to lifelong learning.

In considering a Christian education, Westlake Christian Academy stands ready to come alongside you and assist in the task of making disciples, prepared and ready for service in our Lord's kingdom. We offer a faculty that shares your priority for building up students in their Christian faith in a world that has become increasingly hostile to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Your Role...
God has given to parents the responsibility for educating their children (Deut. 6:6-9, Eph. 6:1-4). While you are free to delegate a portion of that responsibility to an institution, you must retain an active role through prayer, communication, encouragement and involvement.
The school seeks to build up Christian leaders for all walks of life, men and women who love the Lord, and seek to serve Him in whatever He calls them to do. But we cannot do this alone. It is a team effort.

The Next Step...

If what you've seen here sounds like it might be a fit with your desires for your children, we encourage you to take the next step. Read through the Addmisions Policy page, and the Admissions Steps page.

Then give us a call and make an appointment with our Principal. Talk with administrators and teachers, and hear their vision for building up the next generation of Christian leaders.
