Steps in the Admissions Process

  1. Prior to your formal application you are welcome to tour the school, make an appointment to discuss school programs, etc.
  2. To initiate the formal process, an Application for Admission must be submitted to the school accompanied with the testing and application fee. The testing fee is non-refundable unless the class is closed.
  3. After an application has been made to the school:
    1. You may request a Tuition Assistance Application and information.
    2. Your son or daughter will be given an entrance assessment exam.
    3. You will be contacted for an interview; at least one parent (both if possible) and applicant should meet with a school officer to review the test results and discuss the various facets of being a part of WCA.
    4. Parents of four, five or six year old applicants should bring a copy of the birth certificate. Other ages should bring recent test scores and report cards.
    5. A Westlake representative will contact you to schedule a Board / Family interview before the final decision of acceptance is made.
  4. Depending on the calendar, the applicant may be invited to spend a visitation day with us in the classroom before a decision to admit is reached.
  5. Upon admission, $250 registration fee will be due.
  6. At that time, the Admission Director will guide you through the miscellaneous procedures such as health records and other forms.
  7. The Business Manager will contact you to discuss Tuition Payment Plans under separate cover.
