Fifth Grade News
May 21, 2004
This
is the last “official” 5th Grade News
of the year. Please
make note of the important activities occurring next week. 5/24:
“Video Day” Please turn in your child’s permission
slip for the movie by Monday. 5/25:
“Water Fun Day” (Weather
permitting). Please
have your child bring a towel and an extra change of clothes.
They may bring in water guns. 5/26:
“X-tra Special Day” Field Day.
Please refer to the Academy news for the information
regarding that day as well as a permission slip. 5/27:
“It’s Your Day” We will be having a 5th grade
celebration that day. Please
see the attached sheet for more details. 5/28:
“Zip it up and go home”. Elementary
awards day. (brief) Pick up will be around 10:00. To help
honor the Seniors…
It has been a really memorable year with your “buddies”
the seniors. I thought
it would be a nice “tribute” to them if the 5th grade
class would attend their graduation ceremony on Friday, May 28.
Here are the details. When:
Friday, May 28 @ 7:00 PM Where:
Lakeland Evangelical Free Church on Huntclub Road (Gurnee) Details:
You may drop your child off no later than 6:45 at the church.
They will sit in a reserved section with me during the
ceremony. Dress:
Please wear a nice outfit (like one you would wear to church)
NO JEANS. Pick
Up: You may pick up your child between 8:00
and 8:15. Please
read and sign the attached sheet and send it in by next Wednesday
