MATH The high school math program
is designed to accommodate a variety of skill and interest
levels. Courses range from Pre-Algebra through Calculus,
including the opportunity for Advanced Placement.
SOCIAL STUDIES All students receive
an introduction to World and United States history,
and an understanding of the American political system.
In addition, electives are offered in Psychology and
Sociology.
SCIENCE Four years of laboratory
sciences are offered, including Chemistry and Physics.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in
a number of Advanced Inquiry Modules covering a wide
variety of specialized topics.
ENGLISH Most students receive
four years of instruction in grammar, composition, and
literature. In addition, students have the opportunity
to participate in a number of Advanced Inquiry Modules
to improve skills or to explore specialized topics.
BIBLE All students receive four
years of instruction in Biblical content, doctrine,
and application. Students are also familiarized with
the history of the Christian church and its creeds.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE The study of
foreign languages not only teaches students to appreciate
other cultures, but more importantly, deepens and solidifies
their understanding of English and the overall communication
process.
FINE ARTS Opportunity is provided
for instruction in creative arts, as well as participation
in drama and choral music.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION All students
participate in a regular program of physical education,
as well as having the opportunity to participate in
interscholastic sports.
