Parent Connections Program
The goal of Parent Connections is to foster a strong sense of Christian community across the whole Westlake family. We want our families to develop close relationships, supporting and encouraging each other. Westlake offers many social events that provide opportunities to form those connections, such as our All-School Picnic, Grandparents Day, Harvest Fest, concerts, sporting events, and others. Beyond those events, we try to promote the idea of building personal relationships in everything we do. We want our school to feel like a family.
One specific way we nurture Parent Connections is through a new program called New Parent Partners. The goal is simple: to welcome new families and help them adjust to being in a new school environment. Each new family is partnered with a "host" family that is available to them as a friendly resource throughout the year, answering questions and supporting them as needed along the way. If you would like to be a New Parent Partners host family, please email us at [email protected]. |
Mission of the Parents Association - "To enhance our children's educational and spiritual development by connecting parents to foster a strong sense of Christian community, mobilizing parent volunteers, and shepherding parents towards leadership positions."
"For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." --Ephesians 2:10 |
