Leadership Development Team
Westlake Christian Academy has many opportunities for parents to volunteer in leadership positions. Our desire is that committed parents will be open and obedient to the Lord's leading as they are called to serve. Our school depends on parents to take ownership of certain functions; strong leaders are necessary and appreciated.

Parent Volunteer Network (PVN) Coordinators are needed for our PVN Teams. These individuals are responsible for organizing a small team of volunteers to help the school in a specific area. PVN Coordinators serve for one school year at a time. We provide training and support, and we recruit volunteers for each team. Leading a PVN Team is a great first step for those who feel called to help WCA in a servant leadership role.

The Board of Trustees volunteers demonstrate a higher level of commitment and responsibility. The Board is a nine-person team of parents of current and former Westlake students, who serve for 3 years at a time. The purpose of the Board is to provide strategic and long-range planning, secure facilities and personnel, set operational policies, and provide general oversight. There is a formal process for confirming these candidates, as outlined in our school's constitution.
