This is the last edition of Academy News for the 2001-02 school year. Where has the time gone? Thank you for faithfully reading it each week. High School Final Exam Schedule Tuesday, May 28 Periods 1-3: Regular Classes Periods 4-5: 4th Period Exam Periods 6-7: 7th Period Exam Wednesday, May 29 Periods 1-2: 2nd Period Exam Periods 3-4: 3rd Period Exam Periods 6-7: 6th Period Exam Thursday, May 30 Periods 1-2: 5th Period Exam Periods 3-4: 1st Period Exam Students are required to be on time for exams. Students who are late for exams will be required to pay a $10 proctoring fee, and to arrange for the exam to be given at the teacher’s convenience. Open House We are inviting prospective, and current, WCA families to an Open House at the new location in Grayslake on Saturday, May 25th from 9:30-1:00. If you know anyone who might be interested in learning about WCA, be sure to mention this Open House. Lost and Found We have accumulated an amazing array of items in the Lost and Found cabinet. Would you check to see if any of your child’s belongings have ended up in the cabinet. |
Art Need Plastic bottle caps from gallon jugs are perfect as paint containers. Please save them over the summer. Mrs. Krass will make good use of them in the fall. Market Day Product pick-up will be Wednesday, May 29th in the gym. Thanks to all who participated in Market day this year. WCA Move We must be out of the current building by June 15th. Most of our school materials will be stored in trailers until we can move in to our new building. Boxes, and help with packing, would be a wonderful thing. Athletic Dept. Car Washes Gurnee Wal-Mart Sunday, June 30th 1-6 p.m. Saturday, July 20th 11-6 p.m. Saturday, August 10th 11-6 p.m.
