Over the past several weeks, the WCA Board of Trustees and several parents, faculty, and staff members have been revising the existing WCA Constitution and Bylaws to support the pending ACSI accreditation. During the past week, both the Board and WCA Faculty/Staff Assembly have approved the proposed amendments. As WCA parents, it is now your responsibility to review and vote to ratify these revisions.

We understand there is a lot of information to absorb during this process and many parents may have questions regarding these proposed amendments. For this reason, we have scheduled the ratification process to take place over the next two weeks. We believe that this allows for adequate time for prayerful review and response to any questions or clarifications.
Since voting must be done in person (one vote per family regardless of number of students), we have scheduled the voting process to begin at the All-School Picnic on September 12th with an additional provisional voting period afterward to accommodate families that cannot attend the picnic.
It is absolutely critical that all WCA families participate in this process.

Thur., Sept. 10th:
Open Q & A session at 6:30 pm in the WCA Conference Room
Sat., Sept. 12th:
Formal parent voting on the Constitution and Bylaws amendments at the All-School Picnic.
Mon., Sept. 14th:
Start of extended parent voting period for those who could not attend the Picnic. Please stop in the office to vote.
Fri., Sept. 18th:
Closure of the extended parent voting period.
