The Parents Association would like to extend a warm welcome to you. We are so glad you are part of our school family!
What is the Parents Association? We are an organization of Westlake parents whose mission is:
“To enhance our children’s educational and spiritual development by connecting parents to foster a strong sense of Christian community, mobilizing parent volunteers, and shepherding parents towards leadership positions.”
By virtue of having a child at Westlake, you are a member of the Parents Association. We hope that you will participate to help make a difference in your child’s educational experience.
Events
The Parents Association hosts several events throughout the year, with the goal of building community among Westlake families. These events usually include an all-school picnic, father/son campout, daddy/daughter dance, mother/daughter event, and mother/son activity. Please check the school calendar or view our volunteer sign-up page for more details about how to get involved. Sign-up information for each event will be sent via What’s Up @ Westlake.
Room Parents
The Parents Association coordinates room parents for grades preschool through 6th. These parents help to coordinate four class parties a year, along with Teacher Appreciation Week activities. If you would like to serve as a room parent, you can sign up here.
PA Fundraising
Westlake does NOT ask families to participate in all-school fundraisers, such as cookie sales. However, the Parent Association offers opportunities for parents to reduce their tuition with Scrip fundraising, or to help classes and teachers by participating in programs such as Coke Rewards, Box Tops for Education, and Amazon Smile. Learn more about Scrip Fundraising here or learn more about other PA fundraising programs here.
