The Lake County Health Department will conduct Vision and Hearing Screenings at Westlake Christian Academy the morning of Tuesday, November 14, 2017. This is to follow up on the communication sent home with your child.
The Health Department does charge for this service, but it is the most cost-effective way to meet the IL state requirement that hearing and vision screening be provided annually for children:

| Students with an IEP | $10 | Hearing & Vision ($5 each hearing & vision screen - All students must receive screenings |
We are asking parents to send in payment for this mandatory screening by Friday, November 10 or Monday, November 13, in an envelope with your child’s name and grade.
Note: students who wear glasses are exempted from vision screening.
